The New Century Photodocumentarians are a group of like-minded photographers who seek out places in the landscape that have a historical or cultural significance. Old buildings or houses, battlefields, or cemeteries, places associated with important figures or momentous historical events or ordinary places that expand our understanding of an area and its history.  These photographers document and interpret the site and then add text captions or links that add factual geographical and historical background that expand our meaning or backstory of the place's importance.
